OUR IMPACT
AQC
Industries
manufactures
two
types of
ductwork
systems
marketed
under
the
names
TheBlueDuct™™
(transite)
and QADUCT (above
ground). These
proprietary
technologies were
engineered
by the
best
plastic
manufacturing
experts
in the
industry
under
the
direction
of Jon
Jungers
starting in
August, 2001. After
much
research
and
development
in
August,
2003 AQC
started
to
manufacture
the
first
full
line of
self-insulated
heating and cooling
ductwork in the
world.
From that point on,
AQC's goal is to
engineer and
manufacture all the
related fittings
necessary for a
complete heating and
cooling supply
system.
Focused
on full
range of
residential,
commercial,
and
industrial
underground
and
above-ground
polyethylene
insulated
ductwork
products.

THE MARKET CHALLENGE
Currently
we have increased our
underground HVAC market by about
45% but until 2003 conventional
types of PVC, fiber glass plastic and PVC coated
spiral pipes were used for below
ground air duct construction.
The response has been to switch
to TheBlueDuct™ once there is
regulatory acceptance. The
difference is that our ductwork
has neither PVC nor seams but
has a tighter seal with no VOC,
this has
gained substantial field acceptance.
Beyond this, inspectors have
more confidence in the
continuous uniform design and
the ability to pressure test the systems. HVAC distributors are
reporting back to us that
TheBlueDuct™
is solving the underground duct
issues that has plagued the
industry for decades. And
despite the continuing weakness
in 2008 - 2010
with the huge downturn in residential
construction it did not prevent us
from
adding engineering
approvals, distributors and
investors.
In summary, the challenge to
our company is due to the increase
in market share, so over the
next five years we will focus on
Green Building design and expanding
and strengthening our
distributorship.

MANUFACTURING
There are three processes
involved in the manufacturing of TheBlueDuct™ and
QADUCT: Rotomolding, injection molding and
extrusion all have inherent design strengths,
such as consistent wall thickness and strong
outside corners that are virtually stress free.
For additional strength, our engineers have
designed reinforcing ribs into the fittings
where needed.
